Coming from Bel\u00e9n, Middle East, Domingo Suadi known as Domingo Su\u00e1rez and his wife Antonia, in the year 1900 settled in the highlands of Boquete, Chiriqu\u00ed; where they planted the first 70,000 coffee trees on a 70-hectare site in the Alto Quiel region, a coffee-growing area by excellence, considered \u201cthe best coffee-growing region in the world\u201d in terms of the quality of the coffee produced there.
\nThe Su\u00e1rezs were pioneers in the cultivation of coffee and began a long family tradition that was continued by their children: Eliseo, Delia, Amado Juanita, Vidal and Venacio; and as well as his grandson Isaac M. “Tito” Su\u00e1rez and children.
\nMore a hundred years later, our coffee beans are still washed with pure water from the Alto Quiel mountains. Like our grandparents, coffee is still traditionally dried in the sun with controlled humidity to maintain the natural flavor of the smooth coffees of yesteryear.
