Coming from Belén, Middle East, Domingo Suadi known as Domingo Suárez and his wife Antonia, in the year 1900 settled in the highlands of Boquete, Chiriqui; where they planted the first 70,000 coffee trees on a 70-hectare plot of land in the Alto Quiel region, a coffee-growing area par excellence, considered “the best coffee-growing region in the world” in terms of the quality of the coffee produced there.
The Suárez family was a pioneer in the cultivation of coffee and began a long family tradition that was continued by their children: Eliseo, Delia, Amado Juanita, Vidal and Venacio; and as well as his grandson Isaac M. “Tito” Suarez and sons.
More than a hundred years later, our coffee bean is still washed with pure water from the Alto Quiel mountains. Just like grandparents did, coffee is still dried in the traditional way in the sun with controlled humidity to maintain the natural flavor of the mild coffees of yesteryear.
As a tribute to Grandpa Domingo and “mamita” Antonia; The fourth generation Suárez uses its original recipe and presents modern and eye-catching packaging in which the aroma, quality and flavor of Arabica coffee, gourmet par excellence, is preserved, with the merit of a one hundred percent high coffee backed by our family tradition.
