Don Pachi Estate
Don Pachi Serracín is the person who brought the Geisha variety from Costa Rica to Panama in 1963. Lover of his land, his farm and coffee. Around 1960 many farms in Panama and much of Central America planted low growing crops that have high yields like the Caturra and Catuaí, but Don Pachi contributed to the Panamanian coffee farmer preferring to bring the Geisha to Panama.

Don Pachi brought the Geisha from CATIE in neighboring Costa Rica, an agricultural research station that It has one of the largest coffee parks and variety collections in the world.
Already in 2003, his son Francisco during a cupping of the coffee from his farms detected that this variety had previously unperceived characteristics in a cup compared to those already known.
We cultivate excellent coffee, our farms located between 1350m to 1600msnm, guarantee us a great quality. Among the varieties grown on our farms we have “Typica”, “Bourbon”, “Catuai”, “Caturra”, “Pacamara”, “Geisha”, “Mundo Novo”, “Villa Sarchi”, “San Ramón”, ” Villalobos ”and“ Java ”.
