Since man first encountered coffee until today, it has given much to talk about; of a mysterious drink with magical attributes, forbidden for being an aphrodisiac of the Devil, medicinal since Pope Clement VIII baptized it and that his doctor gave it to him to drink and calm his anxiety.
After coffee spread around the world in a clandestine and forbidden way, where in certain places it germinated and in others not, where new varieties were produced or that lacked a good flavor, a secret drink in the popular sphere and in others reserved for high society; reaches our days with many stories and legends that have really described coffee, with its attributes and effects, which were narrated in each era with the details and knowledge that had and were given at that time.
Nowadays the coffee has a long way to go, with a bad and good reputation and that in this time that we now live we talk about its virtues for health, its aromas and flavors in its preparations and its prized reputation and popularity that has to be as well know like water all over the planet; and it does not cease to be a topic of conversation nor has it ceased to follow its journey in our history that today we already see it as an ingredient in haute cuisine, a variety that produces a luxurious and expensive elixir, or fermentation for a drink, and while writing this article I found some striking adventure with coffee: an authentic coffee pool, the water coming from a natural thermal spring what is used to make the perfect mix in the Yunessun Spa, in Japan.
Coffee will continue to walk throughout the history to come, it will become every time in something new, attractive, and the epoch will give it its touch that will always keep it in fashion; the coffee shops will also adapt and not stop being the meeting point, and that at some time in it revolutions were start, a story or news, to write a book, or meet that casual and interesting person, and like me now taking an excellent filtered coffee while I write.
Coffee is not a drink; it is the nectar of the Gods.
And it was gifted to Earth.
