Coming from Belén, Middle East, Domingo Suadi known as Domingo Suárez and his wife Antonia, in the year 1900 settled in the highlands of Boquete, Chiriquí; where they planted the first 70,000 coffee trees on a 70-hectare site in the Alto Quiel region, a coffee-growing area by excellence, considered “the best coffee-growing region in the world” in terms of the quality of the coffee produced there.
The Suárezs were pioneers in the cultivation of coffee and began a long family tradition that was continued by their children: Eliseo, Delia, Amado Juanita, Vidal and Venacio; and as well as his grandson Isaac M. “Tito” Suárez and children.
More a hundred years later, our coffee beans are still washed with pure water from the Alto Quiel mountains. Like our grandparents, coffee is still traditionally dried in the sun with controlled humidity to maintain the natural flavor of the smooth coffees of yesteryear.
As a tribute to grandfather Domingo and “mamita” Antonia; the fourth generation Suárez uses its original recipe and presents modern and colorful packaging in which the aroma, quality and flavor of Arabico coffee are preserved, gourmet for excellence, with the merit of a hundred percent high-altitude coffee backed by our tradition family.
