El Batara Coffee Estate owes its name to the abundance of a small bird: batara laughter, so called because its song seems like a laugh; It has an area of 17.7 Ha, close to one of its sides is the Santana River which provides nutrients to the land and gives it a good climate, has an altitude of 200 meters above sea level and is located in the Province of Coclé in the northeast part, District of Penonomé, Township of Toabre and Community of Cañasas de Santana.
