We are more than Coffee & Aroma

We are more than Coffee & Aroma

Café & Aroma was born from an idea conceived by Engineer Gilberto Ortiz. A few years ago, he realized how difficult it was to find high-quality coffee or specialty coffee in Panama. In many cases, people had to travel directly to the coffee farms to purchase it.

C&A emerged in response to this need, sourcing some of the finest coffees from across Panama and making them available through its website, with deliveries throughout the country and worldwide.

After discovering the world of coffee and recognizing the potential behind C&A’s concept, Gian Ortiz joined forces with his father to help bring this vision to life. Eventually, the rest of the Ortiz-Alemán family also became part of this shared passion for coffee.

More than four years have passed since this great idea began in 2019. We initially purchased coffee in the original packaging provided by the farms. However, as we became more deeply involved in the coffee industry, we realized that we wanted to create and offer a product that was uniquely our own.

That is why we began roasting exceptionally special coffee lots in our own roasting laboratory: Café & Aroma Roasters.

We purchase the coffee green and unroasted, then develop a unique roasting profile for every variety we source from different farms throughout Panama. As we like to say in Panama, we add our own special touch.

Today, in addition to offering some of Panama’s finest coffee lots through our website, roasted with our distinctive approach, we also provide roasting, grinding, packaging, and other related services to coffee farms and producers.

We also work with individuals and companies that wish to create personalized coffee gifts for special occasions, corporate events, or year-end celebrations.

Entering the specialty coffee community is not easy. Today, our brand is recognized, and we are deeply grateful to all the farms that allowed us to showcase their coffees. Their trust has now given us access to exceptional coffee lots that we can purchase, roast, and offer to our local and international customers, who have believed in us throughout this journey.

Our mission has always been to give everyone the privilege of experiencing the outstanding coffee produced throughout Panama, including exclusive lots, competition-grade coffees, specially designed blends, and customized espresso profiles.

Welcome to the new concept of Café & Aroma. More exciting surprises are coming soon.
