The Leucaena Tree

Leucaena trees play an important role on coffee farms because they provide shade and renew their leaves approximately every three months. As the leaves fall, they enrich the soil with nitrogen-rich nutrients, which are absorbed by the coffee plants and contribute to the production of excellent coffees in the Boquete region.

Coffee cultivation is closely connected to nature, climate, and biodiversity. The dedication of coffee farmers and their teams deserves great admiration, as they work every day with care and passion to nurture each crop.
